HANDLOOM PRODUCTS
The rugs are made manually by skilled craftsmen on a traditional horizontal loom or a vertical loom. Pit looms are used for weaving in Fatehpur Sikri in which a weaver sits in a pit loom. Both hands and feet are used in weaving the Durries. The maximum width of the Durries is 350 cm.
The Rugs are light weighted and very comfortable. Mostly Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh make special types of Durries. We use offcut cotton, jute, hemp, rayon, offcut denim and fine cotton yarn to make the Durries, then it is made with very classic designs like stripes, trellis, minimalistic, traditional and unique patterns.
HANDICRAFTS PRODUCTS
A handicraft, sometimes more precisely expressed as artisanal handicraft or handmade, is any of a wide variety of work where useful and Indian traditional home decorative objects (Which we take from our historical architectural heritage, the ancient royal choices of our gracious rulers) are made completely by one’s hand or by using only simple, non-automated related tools like scissors, carving implements, or hooks.
